Sarracenia flava var. maxima
Sarracenia flava is an American Pitcher Plant found in bogs from Alabama up the eastern seaboard into Virginia. Flava var. maxima varieties occur throughout the range and are characterized by the lack of significant color or veining in the pitchers. Sunny conditions required for full color and flava produces its best pitchers early in the season.
