Canadian Export Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with Carnivero, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions-

  1. **Order Acceptance:**

   - All orders placed through Carnivero are subject to acceptance and availability. Carnivero reserves the right to accept or reject any order at its sole discretion. International orders have a general lead time of 3-4 months considering the cities and phytosanitary certificate requirements.

  1. **Plant Availability:**

   - Live plants are subject to availability. In the event that a selected plant becomes unavailable after an order is placed, Carnivero will notify the customer and offer alternatives if possible. If no suitable replacement is available, Carnivero will issue stored credit or a refund for the unavailable item.

  1. **Shipping and Delivery:**

   - Orders will be shipped to the address provided by the customer during checkout. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of shipping information.  Note that the initial shipping charge covers CITES paperwork, phytosanitary certificate and international shipping.  A separate invoice will be sent that covers domestic shipping + 13% tax charged by Ontario province.

   - Carnivero uses reputable carriers for shipping live plants to Canada and is partnering with a trusted individual in Canada to facilitate these orders.

  1. **Customs and Duties:**

   - Carnivero will facilitate all necessary paperwork and handle customs clearance.  Customers will be responsible for the 13% duty charged by Ontario Province.

  1. **Plant Health and Care:**

   - Carnivero takes great care in packing and shipping live plants to ensure they arrive alive. Upon receipt, customers should promptly unpack and inspect their plants. Any issues or concerns regarding plant health should be reported to Carnivero within 48 hours of delivery.

  1. **Returns and Refunds:**

   - Due to the nature of live plants, returns are generally not accepted. However, if a plant arrives damaged or in poor condition due to shipping, customers must contact Carnivero within 48 hours with photographic evidence. Carnivero will assess each case individually and help accordingly.

  1. **Cancellation Policy:**

   - Orders may not be canceled by the customer after the order has been submitted.

  1. **Changes to Terms:**

    - Carnivero reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers are encouraged to review these terms periodically for any changes.
