Nepenthes erucoides
Nepenthes erucoides is a recently described species from the Philippine island of Dinagat. It's reported to grow on an ultramafic mountain at 800 meters elevation where it gets extreme sun exposure. The species has developed nature defense mechanisms to this by adopting a compact stature and extremely hirsute hirsute (hairy) leaves and tendrils. Pitchers are squat and compact.
All plants for sale are seed grown individuals and have been well hardened in very exposed areas of the greenhouse. They seem to be easy growers and have grown well in both standard Nepenthes media and one incorporating akadama.
This product is considered a Lowland Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil or Hanging Baskets a la carte.
