Nepenthes bicalcarata (from seed)
This classic species hails from the steamy kerangas forests and peat swamps of Borneo. It exhibits teeth connected to the back of the pitcher lid which often can be observed secreting nectar. Nepenthes bicalcarata is a true lowlander and appreciates warm temperatures and high humidity.
The form sold here is seed grown from a horticultural cross in Thailand. Most tend to have red pitchers.
