This bizarre species hails from the Barisan Range in Sumatra. It’s famous for having squat, robust pitchers with an extremely wide peristome. Pitcher bodies and peristomes range in color from green to yellow to red with every combination imaginable. It’s best grown as a highland plant. Plants available are from Borneo Exotics and are from Gunung Gadung. They are the most vigorous clones selected from the BE-3092 and BE-3874 batches.
