This is one of the toughest Nepenthes out there and a perfect beginner’s plant! Hailing from the Phillipines, Nepenthes ventricosa is known for being one of the hardiest and most adaptable Nepenthes species. It produces waisted, waxy pitchers that are tough and long-lasting. This pitcher plant clone produces blood red traps under ideal conditions and is incredibly vigorous. We’ve grown and flowered this plant in a whole gamut of conditions: lowland, intermediate, highland, windowsill, even outside.
