Nepenthes truncata x ovata, CAR-0119. We crossed our truncata (d)-Red Flush with a seed grown Nepenthes ovata to re-make this cross. The pitchers start out striped and iridescent orange/yellow. Over time, the whole pitcher darkens to copper while retaining its striping. It has a strong growth habit and grows well even our lowland greenhouse but probably prefers intermediate conditions the most. All plants are individuals grown from seed.
