Nepenthes truncata is one of the largest Nepenthes species and one of the most spectacular. It's a Philippine endemic, native to the islands of Mindanao, Dinagat and Leyte. There's a wide variation of morphology and habitats across its range. Each one is unique and beautiful and we're happy to be working to line breed the best of this beautiful species.
N. truncata (d-upton) is from Exotica's D line truncata, while our truncata (c) - E is from Exotica's Giant line and produces huge pitchers with elaborately flared peristomes.
All plants are seed-grown.
