Incorporating selected Indochinese species adds a new color pallette for Nepenthes hybridization. Here we've crossed Nepenthes 'Splendid Diana' (a select clone of kampotiana x maxima) with Nepenthe veitchii "Pink Candy Cane". We were inspired to make this cross by the Nepenthes Kohala grex out of Leilani Nepenthes Nursery which was (kampotiana x maxima) x (veitchii x fusca). Such clones as Kohala 'Hapuna' (one of the most unique peristomes ever created in a Nepenthes hybrid) and Kohala 'Ruby Alice' (one of the most rich crimsons of any Nepenthes) were produced. Being a complex hybrid, we expect a wide range of stunning variants from this cross.
Plants are seed grown unless otherwise specified.
