Nepenthes singalana hails from the Barisan range in Sumatra. The form from Gunung Belirang produces elaborately flared, dark peristomes on large pitchers. Unlike many other Nepenthes, this species produces very impressive traps even when small. It’s best grown as a highland plant.
Variegated Nepenthes are extremely rare and this singalana is one-of-a-kind. We've raised this plant since it was young and it has exhibited stable variegation. Like all variegated plants, there is a possibility of recession to normal leaves so we can't guarantee stability indefinitely. All photos are of the exact plant for sale.
