Nepenthes singalana hails from the Barisan range in Sumatra. Though it's considerably variable throughout its range, all forms tend to produce elaborately flared, dark peristomes on large pitchers. This species produces very impressive pitchers even when small. It’s best grown as a highland plant. Plants available are from Borneo Exotics, BE-3761
