This is a natural hybrid between Nepenthes robcantleyi and mindanoensis which are reported to grow sympatrically at highland elevations in southeastearn Mindanao. So far, this hybrid has proven to be extremely vigorous with great pitcher: to leaf ratio and dark color.
Plants for sale here were from wild seed and sold as Nepenthes robcantleyi/nebularum (Mt. Mayo) clone 1. However, after being grown out they seem to be of hybrid origin.
