Nepenthes rafflesiana x mollis, CAR-0216. We used our huge Nepenthes rafflesiana JB and a gorgeous Nepenthes mollis from Jeremiah Harris. We expect these to look similar to the classic Nepenthes rafflesiana, however, mollis should lend a more hairy texture to the leaves and pitchers along with a high neck. Both parents pass on lots of stripes and dark purple color in their pitchers so this one should produce some stunners. We can't wait to see how these develop!
