Nepenthes rafflesiana Leilani x Viking, CAR-0295. A new lowland in-house cross that we expect to be colorful and full of pitchers. The female parent is one of our best rafflesiana and the male is a beautiful red "Viking" we received from Thailand years ago before the distinction between orbiculata and mirabilis var globosa so we keep it labeled as such.
We are seeing colorful leaves and the rafflesiana shaped pitchers even at a small size. The first photo shows a mature plant from a similar grex in our collection. Plants are seed grown so some variability between individuals is expected.
This product is considered an Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
