Nepenthes Song of Melancholy x Hamakua 'Ninole'. This is a cross done between 2 of the best plants that came out of Leilani Nepenthes Nursery (run by our friend Sam Estes). Sadly, the nursery was destroyed by a lava flow in 2018 but Sam's outstanding breeding work should live on indefinitely.
We expect the campanulata influence from Hamakua 'Ninole' to contribute to the pitcher shape alongside with good coloration from both parents. There should be a great deal of incredible variants from this complex hybrid and each individual will be completely unique.
Plants are seed grown unless otherwise specified.
