Nepenthes 'Diana'
Nepenthes ‘Diana’ is a beautiful tropical pitcher plant named after the lovely Diana Cantley, co-owner of Borneo Exotics nursery in Sri Lanka and one of the most prolific Nepenthes breeders in history. This variety is almost certainly the world's most vigorous Nepenthes. It can be grown in a wide variety of conditions and succeeds in home settings including sunny windowsills and terrariums.
This is a cross between Nepenthes ventricosa x sibuyanensis and a red ampullaria. It produces lots of tubby, crimson pitchers with a growth habit that stays compact. We recommend the following conditions:
Temperature: 50-85 degrees
Light: In a windowsill, provide a few hours of direct sunlight. Greenhouses 50-75% shading. Artificial lighting: 400 PPFD
Watering: 2-3 times per week
Humidity: Some humidity supplement can be beneficial such as a room humidifier or a misting with a spray bottle a couple times a day.
Feeding: 1-2 bugs per pitcher per month.
See our Nepenthes growing guide for more information on how to grow them. Here's our sizing guide.
This pitcher plant is considered a Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil or Hanging Baskets a la carte.
