Nepenthes hamata, BE-3380
Nepenthes hamata is renown for having the most fearsome teeth of any Nepenthes species. It is a highland plant requiring warm days and cool nights with good light and humidity. I have found the Nepenthes hamata clones from Lumut to be the most robust growers of all hamata available in cultivation. In particular, this clone and the one from Malesiana Tropicals are the most vigorous growing. The plants have been greenhouse hardened and are much more tolerant of swings in temperature and humidity than plants grown under softer conditions or those freshly out of tissue culture. All photos are of the exact clone for sale. BE-3715 is the exact clone as BE-3380 except produced from cuttings.
Please note that hamata is notorious for growing larger pitchers than leaves when young so the sizing guide will not accurately reflect in this listing, however, the pictures are accurate to the size of the plant you will receive. Some Plants may be sent without active pitchers.
This product is considered a Highland Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
