Nepenthes talangensis x glandulifera, BE-3665
Nepenthes hybrids tend to exhibit a great degree of hybrid vigor but glandulifera hybrids seem to be in a category of their own. Perhaps it’s the fact that glandulifera is so isolated in its habitat on Bukit Batu (to our knowledge Chi’en Lee has been the only intrepid soul brave enough to climb up the intimidating rock face where this species was discovered). We have found this plant to be incredibly vigorous under intermediate and highland conditions. It would make a great candidate for windowsill growing. We love that glandulifera passes on its signature characteristic to its offspring so that they are riddled with black, nectar producing glands. Combine this with the talangensis robust shape and great coloration and it makes for a pretty awesome plant. These are from Borneo Exotics, BE-3665
