We expect the color from these plants to be absolutely outstanding! Song of Melancholy was of one Leilani Nepenthes's signature crosses and is believed to be Nepenthes boschiana x (spectabilis x veitchii). The male parent is ventricosa x mapuluensis, which seems to be right between the 2 parents. There should be a lot to look to look forward to in this hybrid and I expect a great amount of variability. The plants should grow well under a wide range of conditions.
