Here’s a classic hybrid that we highly recommend, Nepenthes maxima x talangensis. To our knowledge, this clone has not been officially registered as a cultivar but it’s been dubbed "Lady Pauline" by Borneo Exotics (BE-3679). Interestingly, we grow both a male and female clone labeled as ‘Lady Pauline’ so there could be multiple assorted clones in the mix. The two parent species complement each other well and produce large, tubby traps with a deep purple peristome. It’s a vigorous grower under a wide range of conditions and would be a good candidate for a windowsill plant.
