This easy to grow hybrid takes on the best attributes from both parents. We love the sinister teeth on hamata peristomes and it is a contender for our favorite species. But, the pitchers are relatively thin. Not so with this hybrid! Nepenthes burkei passes along its tough and waxy pitcher texture along with its vigor and temperature tolerance. This hybrids grows well under intermediate and highland conditions and is well tolerant of humidity fluctuations. Highly recommended! The hamata used is the Tambusisi form which has the darkest and most sinister teeth of any Nepenthes.
