Nepenthes ampullaria (Tricolor x Purple Stripe 2), CAR-0180. Another horticulturally produced ampullaria grex from Carnivero with huge potential. The male ampullaria "Purple Striped #2" produces burgundy pitcher bodies with purple stripes on a lime green peristome. We bred this with our classic tricolor clone with red, green and purple markings. We expect a wide variety of beautifully colored offspring. All plants are grown from seed and variability is expected. Each is a genetically distinct individual.
