Anthurium radicans x moodeanum is an exciting in-house hybrid created by crossing two distinct species. A. radicans is a smaller, ground-crawling anthurium with bullate leaves, similar in texture to *A. luxurians*. On the other hand, A. moodeanum is prized for its large size and glossy red emerging foliage, which matures to a rich, near-black leaf. The hybrid combines these characteristics, resulting in a plant with thick, red emergent leaves reminiscent of A. moodeanum, but with a more compact growth habit.
