Nepenthes x hookeriana is a vigorous Nepenthes hybrid between Nepenthes ampullaria and rafflesiana. This particular grex used ampullaria 'Black Miracle' as the male parent which passes on black variegation in its leaves and deep purple/black pitcher bodies with striped peristomes.
