Anthurium antolakii is a newly discovered and recently described species from Eastern Panama formally known as Black Velvet Eastern Panama (BVEP). It produces exceptionally dark leaves with an unmatched velvet sheen. Anthurium portillae is is a beautiful velvet leaved anthurium with a delightfully wide sinus.
